Tuesday, December 9, at 11am, join us for a ribbon cutting event! The Rosemarie & Dean L. Buntrock Gallery will present animals from around the globe in an interactive and immersive educational format. Upon entering the museum's lobby, visitors will be greeted by the denizen of the prairie, a full bison mount. Informational panels throughout will provide insights into the gallery and its collection, inviting visitors to learn about the incredible biodiversity of our planet. Guests will encounter animals native to North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Some species, such as the pheasant, may be familiar, while others, like the Dall sheep, might be a new experience. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about these animals, their habitats, and how human activities impact their world.
