PRIMARY ELECTION - JUNE 4, 2024

 

Election Polls will be open from 7:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M., Central Time on the day of the Election.

 

The Vote Centers in Brown County are as follows:

In Aberdeen City:

  • AmericInn Event Center
  • Best Western Ramkota Convention Center
  • Brown County Courthouse Community Room

Rural Sites are as follows:

  • Claremont City Hall
  • Columbia Legion
  • Frederick Community Center
  • Groton Community Center
  • Hecla Community Center
  • Stratford Community Center
  • Warner Community Center
  • Westport Community Center

Any voter who needs assistance, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may contact Brown County Auditors Office at 605-626-7110 before the election for information on polling place accessibility for people with disabilities.

ABSENTEE VOTING – APRIL 19, 2024 TO JUNE 3, 2024

 

In Person: 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday, Brown County Courthouse

 

Vote by Mail:

  • Request a ballot by completing this form (Absentee Application) then return to the Auditor’s Office along with a copy of your ID or have it notarized.
  • Once received at Auditor’s Office it will be processed and a Ballot will be mailed to you.
  • Returning the ballot
    • Make sure you complete the back of the Envelope with Name & Signature
    • Postage will be 3 Forever stamps ($1.64)
    • You may drop your voted ballot off in person to the Brown County Auditor’s Office at 25 Market Street, Ste. 1, Aberdeen. 

 

The Brown County Auditor's Office performs all the duties required by law relative to all County, State and Federal Elections held in the County. The Auditor also maintains Voter Registration Records and County Election History.
